About She STEMs ’24
She STEMs is the symposium that brings together professionals, academics, and enthusiasts from the STEM fields to share knowledge, promote collaboration, and inspire innovation.
GWiS invites you to the 2nd Interdisciplinary She STEMs Symposium focusing on Greek and Cypriot women scientists, which will take place in Thessaloniki on September 14-15, 2024, at Aristotle University Research Dissemination Center (KEDEA) under the auspices of 12 institutions.
The goal of the She STEMs Interdisciplinary Symposium is to unite scientists working in academia and industry in Greece, Cyprus, and abroad, and to promote their work to the general public. The two-day symposium will include talks from women scientists excelling in STEM fields, career fairs, mentoring, and networking sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to delve into STEM fields and their applications and learn about the professional pathways available in each field.
The project is supported by the Civil Society Organizations Empowerment Program active in the field of Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment, which is designed and implemented by Social Dynamo, the NGO Hub of the Bodossaki Foundation.
