Introduction
Our competition is free to enter.
Eligibility and entry restrictions
To be eligible to enter the competition: You should be an active student in one of Universities that are Partners in the consortium i.e. University of Bordeaux, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, University of Lodz, University of Porto, Ruhr-University Bochum, University of Oulu, Sciences Po Paris. The student active role is proved by submitting a scanned copy of the student pass of the participant or equivalent. The maximum number of entries to a competition per person is 2.
Start and closing dates
- The competition shall open for entries on 3 February of 2021 and shall close to entries at 24 February of 2021, 23:59:59.
- Any entries received before the opening or after the closing of the competition will be invalid and will not be entered into the competition.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
- We reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice.
- Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of all terms and conditions.
Judging
- Competition entries shall be judged on the basis of the criteria of creativity, originality, clarity and easy to communicate the message.
- The judging committee consists of one representative by each consortium partner. The final result will be judged through an online voting process with the participation of RESET partners
- If a competition entrant does not meet the eligibility requirements or is subject to any entry restrictions, that entrant shall not be entitled to be adjudged a winner.
- All decisions with respect to all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Greek law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thessaloniki, Greece.
- The collected data will be processed in accordance with the GDPR and will not be transferred to third countries.
- The collected data will be stored for 2 months beyond the competition duration.
Winners and Prizes
- The winners will be notified of the competition result by email.
- Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner for 3 days but if the winner fails to respond to our notification attempts within this time or fails to meet any of the eligibility requirements or is otherwise unable to comply with the competition terms and conditions, we reserve the right to disqualify that entrant and offer the award to the next eligible entrant and thereafter until a winner is found.
- The results of a competition will be announced by early March via press release. The announcement may include the winner’s name, their logo and concept, and their University.
Copyright and moral rights
- You warrant to us that you created your competition entries, that you own the copyright in those entries, and that our use of the entries in accordance with these rules will not infringe any person's intellectual property rights, in particular copyright, or other legal rights including personal data rights.
- You grant to the RESET consortium partners an exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable license to copy, store, edit, remix, transform, distribute, transmit and publish your competition entries for any purpose.
Publicity
- We may undertake publicity activities relating to competitions and awards. The winner therefore agrees and gives his consent to the use and disclosure of their personal information such as name, town or region of residence, and participation in the present competition in any post-award-winning publicity releases.
- All other personal details collected as part of the competition will be used in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.
