Privacy Policy

What information do we collect?

To participate in RESET Project’s Visual Identity Student Contest the applicant should fill in the application form. When an applicant fills in the application form and submit the contest’s files RESET Project – Visual Identity Student Contest collects information such as his name, e‐mail address and University affiliation.

Where do we store the information you have provided?

The information we collect is stored on secure server infrastructure within the European Economic Area.

What do we do with users' information?

Any information we collect from users is used solely for the purposes of the contest. The collected data will be processed in accordance with the GDPR and will not be transferred to third countries. The collected data will be stored for 2 months beyond the competition duration.

How do we protect user information?

We have implemented a variety of security measures and industry standards procedures to maintain the safety of any stored personal information and safeguard its authorized access only.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties any personal user information. This does not include trusted third parties who are cooperating with us in operating our services, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

Do we use cookies?

Yes, we use cookies to provide users with customized service through identifying unique visitors and their respective usage patterns. Cookies are small text files saved to the user’s storage used to facilitate access regarding certain services or/and pages for statistical reasons, in order to determine which pages are useful or popular.

Under the European General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and in order to ensure the privacy and protection of their personal data all our users have the following rights:

  • i. Right to information: Users can ask for information about what personal data is being processed and the rationale for such processing.
  • ii. Right to access: Users can ask to access their personal data that is being processed as well as to request copies of these data.
  • iii. Right to rectification: Users can ask to modify their personal data in case this data is not up to date or accurate.
  • iv. Right to withdraw consent: Users can request to withdraw a previously given consent for processing of their personal data. This request will result in cease of processing of their personal data that was based on the consent provided earlier and loss of access to the RESET Project – Visual Identity Student Contest.
  • v. Right to object: Users can object to the processing of their personal data. This request will result in cease of processing of their personal data that was based on the consent provided earlier and loss of access to the RESET Project – Visual Identity Student Contest.
  • vi. Right to object to automated processing: Users can object to a decision based on automated processing and ask to be reviewed manually instead.
  • vii. Right to be forgotten: Users can request deletion of their data.
  • viii. Right for data portability: Users can request the transfer of their personal data to them or to another controller. User’s personal data will be provided or transferred in a machine-readable electronic format.
